Succulent Plants

Welcome, this is a website about my succulent collection. It is also a bit of a trial for making a site with Google sites, simple but efficient. So bear with me while I add to the site. Enjoy!

And I should mention that I do not sell plants online. Occasionally it happens that I sell a few seedlings or offshoots at the ELK in Blankenberge.

If no author is mentioned below a picture, it was taken or drawn by me. For other pictures or illustrations , I check for a CC license and credit the author.  Some authors have given me explicit permission. 

If you are the author of an incorrectly credited pic, please contact me and I will correct the credit or remove the pic.

I collect

• Gasteria

• Cotyledon

• some Haworthiopsis and cousins

• some Aloes,  they are easy to grow from seed, but later on take too much space

• I used to have a lot of Adromischus, but they are crowded out by the above..

• I have a few Euphorbia

You like the cover pic? I'm sure you do, because it has been stolen so many times, I would be a millionair if I got 1 euro for each rip-off...
I took it in april 2005 in Socotra with one of the first digital camera's, a Nikon coolpix 995. The resolution was 2.1 megapixel and it produced beautifully balanced pictures. Another fantastic feature was that half of the camera body could swivel up and down, so you could hold it below you, point up, look down to see the image it would take. Like a Hasselblad. I sold it, fool that I am.
